Design Inspiration | Fall Front Porches

Hey guys! I am back with another round of Design Inspiration! I kicked off this segment with master bedrooms and then dining rooms, but this week I am taking things outside to the front porch. It seems like fall is the time of year we all become motivated to to make the front porch a little more welcoming and I am definitely no exception to this! Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Fall Front PorchesThis post contains affiliate links.

To say our front porch needs a little TLC is a bit of an understatement, but sadly for us, our’s needs new concrete and a new front door, which just isn’t in the budget right now. This has not stopped me from dreaming of our future front porch though! With that said, I put together three different style options for the same porch with my dream door front and center 🙂

First up is Modern Farmhouse. Like I said, my dream door is front and center, softened by a simple yet rustic orange twig wreath. For the entry, I like to layer a larger rug with a traditional doormat, with none other than a plaid Joanna Gaines creation from Magnolia. A classic black metal chair and side table are the perfect compliment to the traditional farmhouse wall sconces. I chose faux pumpkins to add a festive feel, but real pumpkins are also a great option if you don’t have mean squirrels, haha!Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Fall Front Porches

Next, is a simple yet neutral modern look, likely to make a cameo on my porch someday! Again, my dream door is front and center, with a basic rattan wreath to soften the modern lines and lend a natural fall feel. I chose a rounded, plain black chair with clean lines and an hour glass shaped side table to compliment the crisp modern ascetic of the black wall sconces. A fun geometric rug paired with a fall themed doormat finishes off this modern look.Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Fall Front Porches

Lastly, a modern industrial fall front porch. This look combines pieces of both the farmhouse and modern look. My favorite part of this porch is that orange fall marque sign! Finally, something to hang on the door that lights up and runs on batteries! I may just need to snag one of these 🙂 Adding the wire chair and stool, as well as, the pipe wall scones really nail the industrial vibe.Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Fall Front Porches
