Design Inspiration | Holiday Bar Carts

Happy Friday! Before I dive into today’s post, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support this week. Losing our dog has been very difficult and I truly appreciate all of your kind words and caring thoughts! It really does mean the world to me! Now back to your normally scheduled dose of design inspiration 😉  Since the Christmas season is upon us and holiday parties are just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to talk about stocking the bar cart with all the essentials. Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Holiday Bar CartsThis post contains affiliate links. No matter what your drink of choice, there is nothing like a festive bar to put you in the holiday spirit. While the bar cart has been around for quite some time, it has recently regained its popularity. With their small footprint and stylish look, it is no wonder they have become a staple of home entertaining. The growth in popularity has also brought about an array of styles from modern, to rustic, to vintage. With so many choices, you may have a difficult time deciding on the right look for you. As such, I have put together three different options for the perfect bar cart, just in time for your holiday parties!

First up is the classic mid century bar cart. When I think of mid century modern design, I can’t help but think of old Hollywood and a stylish bar cart for happy hour. For this look I chose a vintage walnut bar cart with soft curved lines and a very MCM feel. I included a lot of natural materials mixed with just a little bit of copper and gold. The vintage style stockings might just be my favorite though!Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Holiday Bar Carts

Next, is a little more bling, perfect for a glam New Years Eve party! A lucite and polished chrome bar cart seemed like the right amount of fancy while still providing a neutral backdrop. Some simple art prints and splashes of metallics and sequins give this bar cart a festive vibe! I am totally in love with that wine chiller ice mold too! The holiday and seasonal options could be endless with that 🙂 Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Holiday Bar Carts

Lastly, an industrial styled bar cart. To me, nothing says industrial more than flat black metal finishes and aged copper. But my favorite parts of this bar cart might just be the table top wine opener and those freezable rocks glasses. Both are so unique but provide great function! I topped off the industrial look with a little leather from the decanter and plaid Christmas stockings. Garrison Street Design Studio - Design Inspiration | Holiday Bar Carts
