Friday Favs | Vol 7

It’s Friyay! Seriously, my favorite day of the week. And today I can’t stop thinking about outdoor spaces. I know it’s only February, but we have had so many spring like days the weather totally has my mind wandering in that direction. It was so nice today I drove with my windows down and sunroof open! Even my plants, the onesΒ I almost killed last year but managed to save, are already coming back! But it’s supposed to snow tomorrow, so there’s that πŸ™Β Β

So let’s pretend today that winter is over and spring is here shall we?

The other day I received my early spring edition of the Crate & Barrel catalog and I am crazy about all the faux succulents they are showing! Mostly because I can’t kill them πŸ™‚ I love the idea of using them with glass hurricanes too because I have tons of those!Garrison Street Design Studio - Friday Favs | Vol 7

A while back, Barry ordered us one of these Bluetooth speakers. I was pretty skeptical because of its size and portability, but it actually works really well and you can’t beat the price! Perfect for travel or using outside on the patio when spring finally arrives πŸ™‚

Along with spring and summer usually comes wedding season which to me means I get to buy a new dress πŸ™‚ But did you know you can rent a dress? Yep! Rent the Runway. It’s a thing. I personally have not done it mostly because being short has it’s life disadvantages but it sounds so fun! Especially if you have somewhere really special to go! They have so many options including bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride, black tie, and they even rent maternity clothes!

Last year I bought this cute pineapple doormat and layered it with a 4×6 version of this outdoor rug. I brought it in for the winter, but I can’t wait to bring it back out! I’m also loving this one. Maybe I need another one πŸ™‚Garrison Street Design Studio - Friday Favs | Vol 7

Last Friday I gave you all some great ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts and now I am going to throw one more at ya. Why not impress your date with a delicious meal from Hello Fresh? Barry and I used them for about 6 months and not only did we love it, but it taught us how to make tasty, flavorful and fresh, healthy meals without spending days in the kitchen. Right now you can get $30 off your first box or $40 off your first two boxes. It’s so worth it! I mean, just look at those tacos!
